Tomorrow is 4th of July, and that means it's time to BBQ! It's one of my favourite things about summer - just relaxing and putting some food on the grill for a low-key get together with family & friends

For a low-key summer BBQ, I love to choose one feature to enhance and leave the rest very natural - so easy & quick (so you can get back to eating/socializing ASAP

NAILS: Try a bright shade with a glimmery finish for maximum impact
LIPS & CHEEKS: Go for a rosy-raspberry colour that creates a cute & coordinated look in an instant
SKIN: Apply a luminous primer all over before makeup application and also use as a highlighter as an ultra-glowy finishing touch
EYES: Smudge a shimmery teal liner around the eyes for a mesmerizing gaze, or just underneath the eye for a quick shot of colour

This watermelon, basil & feta salad is AMAZING - there's never any leftovers! Here's how I like to make it:
Cut 1 small seedless watermelon into cubes. Add the following to the watermelon in a large bowl: 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, 1/2 cup fresh basil cut into strips, 1/2 cup roasted pine nuts, 1 cup crumbled feta cheese, plus balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt & pepper to taste. Toss to combine all ingredients & enjoy!
