Today I want to share with you the second look that we created for the Target commercial / style show & event!
The models were all wearing chic basics, but with a touch of embellishment - I wanted to enhance this by doing a clean, simple face with a burst of glitter on the lids. This made for a look that lit up the models' faces, lit up the cameras, and lit up the show!

The look is easy to recreate:
1. Apply foundation and concealer as usual, and swirl a subtle nude-peach blush on cheeks.
2. Line eyes with a charcoal shadow pen or liner. Stay with a delicate line for a refined look, or smudge on more heavily for more depth.
3. Dab glitter on top of liner and continuing to just above the crease. You can use loose glitter for this (try mixing it with a glitter sealer for more staying power), or a liquid glitter mix like the ones below from Ben Nye - get them at NYC cult makeup store Ricky's http://www.rickysnyc.com/.
4. Smooth on a nourishing lip balm, ideally with a bit of holographic pearl to enhance lips without competing with the eyes.
Make sure to perfect your brows when going for this look - with so much attention on the eye, defined brows are a must!

I have to say that I'm very proud of the finished look It's perfect for a night out, or can be pared down for everyday - love a bit of embellishment to brighten up any look!
