Nobody wears this look better than Sophia Loren, the lady who was famous for the look and did her eyes herself - no makeup artist needed!

We recently did this look for a shoot & show – it's always on trend and is easy to achieve at home with a few of the right tools!
We were going for: piercing cat eyes, flawless skin, a hint of orchid pink on the apples of the cheeks and nearly naked lips.
Here is what we used:

Flawless Vitamin Veil works double duty as foundation and concealer, so it's always a must on shoots. It's also very hydrating - the model's skin feels nice for many many hours and (very important) it hides every skin sin!
A great eye primer is key for any look that has an eye focus; our choice is Eye Bright Primer.
The lips were very dewy but natural, thanks to our glossy lip balm, Tinted Brilliance Balm in Nearly Naked.
We contoured the eyes with a taupe shadow (find it in the Seasonal Reflection Kit in Casual Cool) that looks just like shade from the sun – it’s a "no-colour" colour that is perfect for shading and shaping eyes. We added a cool pink on cheeks (also from the Seasonal Reflection Kit in Casual Cool) for a subtle yet brightening flush.
Next came the easy cat liner with our Lash Line Ink. The trick is to use short strokes, starting in the center of the eye as close to the lashline as possible, then working outward – at the end of the eye, gently tighten skin and flick liner out & up 2-3 mm.
Finally, as a brightening and softening touch at the end, we dusted the whole eye with white shimmer powder - gorgeous!

Lash Line Ink really is the essential cat eye tool - it lasted 18 hours on set! It's also a beauty blogger favorite - see blogger In the Frow's review on it here: http://www.inthefrow.com/2013/03/pixi-lash-line-ink.html (and her pretty look using it in the image above!).

For nails, we used this model and editor fall favorite colour on all - it’s a deep, deep wine colour that flatters every skintone.
Here I am backstage with one of our Brazilian super models!

We also had some very cute men in the show - but didn't do the cat eye on them, which they were very relieved about (we did do powder & lip balm though shhhhh!
