Today I wanted to share some on-the-set exclusives from my latest Target shoot!
Shot in L.A. on a grey day, the campaign is all about gorgeous aquas & blues – such perfect hues to jump into Spring!
Whenever I do a shoot, I make sure to take all of the Pixi essentials with me, along with some key makeup artist tools – cotton swabs, eyelash curlers, and spoolie brushes are always in high demand!
I spy new Pixi brushes!
I usually carry around 50-60 different brushes in my artistry kit at any given time, but I’ve whittled it down and created THE 9 essentials for our new Pixi brush collection. I love them!

Once the models are confirmed, I always design the look on a smudge sheet and hand-mix colours if needed. For this shoot, I did all of the application in the makeup studio caravan on the beach – you have to love California!
Here I am applying the makeup – we were going for a cool, aquatic Spring look, so I focused on a fresh blue liner with a natural complexion & lips.
