Idina Menzel Wears Pixi at the 2014 Oscars!

Red Carpet Looks

I love watching the Oscars every year – the red carpet, the dresses, the speeches - it’s all so glamorous!

This year, I was especially excited because celebrity makeup artist Matin made up the amazing Idina Menzel using Pixi products!!!

How gorgeous does she look?!

Some behind-the-scenes pics...

Here's how Matin created the look on Idina:

Step 1: Create a canvas for long-lasting makeup using Flawless & Poreless Primer

Step 2: Dust Flawless Vitamin Veil over the face for light coverage

Step 3: Dab Correction Concentrate under the eyes and anywhere that needs additional coverage

Step 4: Apply the Succulent Lip Twin in Coral Camellia balm to the apples of the cheek for a natural flush

Step 5: For the eyes, create a thick line along the lash line with Lid Last Shadow Pen in Bronze Brilliance, pushing upwards onto the lid, then adding a layer of Endless Silky Eye Pen in EmeraldGold

Step 6: Create depth on the lids using the Mesmerizing Mineral Palette in Plum Quartz. Start with the matte brown shade and dabbing along the lash line, then filling out lids with the shimmery mauve and finally highlighting the inner corners of the eyes with the shimmery gold shade and Endless Silky Eye Pen in OysterGlow

Step 7: Fill out brows with the tapered pencil end of the Natural Brow Duo

Step 8: For full lashes, layer on two to three coats of Large Lash Mascara in Bold Black

Step 9: Buff lips with 29 by Lydia Mondavi First Crush Lip Scrub to create a smooth canvas for both the balm and gloss from Succulent Lip Twin in Opal Orchid, finishing  with a fresh, youthful look

For Idina’s stellar performance of Let It Go - my personal favorite part of the night :) - Matin added more Endless Silky Eye Pen in EmeraldGold, creating an elongated cat eye effect on both upper & lower lash lines. What a great day-to-night addition!

Did you watch the Oscars? What was your favorite part?
