For the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing the inspiring stories behind each of our Pixi Pretties. Today, I wanted to talk more about how exciting it was to finally work with Judy of ItsJudyTime on not one, but TWO palettes!
Judy’s ItsEyeTime palette features twelve silky eye shades, pigmented enough so you can apply and blend with just your fingertips. These names hold a special place in her heart – Judy was inspired to name each of these shades from her most memorable journeys on the vlog. PING!
Both Judy and I are busy mums (with 2-year old twins!) and often, we have very little time. We are proud that we created multi-use palettes for you lovelies to achieve quick, effortless looks, even on your busiest days. Judy loves to use “Snowflake” as a highlighter on the top of her cheekbones and brow bone. Personally, I love to use the deeper shades to blend into my lash line. To quickly wake up my eyes, I mix "Getaway" & "Ping" for the perfect hue, then mist my Cat Liner Brush with Makeup Fixing Mist to use as liner -- Fast and easy!
The shades in Judy’s ItsLipTime palette are sweet in more ways than one. Judy noted that she loved to use lipsticks that smell amazing, so it was essential that we added a fruity scent to the colours. Judy hand-mixed and named each of these stunning shades as well, paying homage to her three sweet daughters!
I love this lip palette because it allows you to be an artist – just by mixing two or three shades of pinky nudes or bold reds, you’ll find your Pixi perfect shade! Valentine’s Day is coming up, so for a flirty ombre look, apply a deeper shade all over the lips. Then, pat a lighter colour onto the center of the lips and fade it outwards. My favourite shade is "B did it" – it’s the perfect pinky-rose, and I instantly achieve a fresh look by dabbing it onto my lips and apples of the cheeks. These shades have the perfect, no-shine finish.
ItsLipTime and ItsEyeTime also come with an adhesive mirror for easy, on-the-go touch-ups. I put mine on the back above the colour names. Make sure to remove protective film on the front
Another fun plus? The girls at the Pixi office love to use the mirror on its own to mix lip colours!
This past weekend, Judy and her family were in the Philippines to debut both palettes to her loyal fans. It’s truly amazing to see the worldwide support and love for Judy!
