I love Summer! Each year, I try to come up with a list of favourite go-to's to keep me going during those long days filled with heat & sunshine - here's the list for this year!
A bright manicure is one of the easiest ways to add a touch of colour to your look.

Do a creative design in sorbet shades to freshen things up! Go for a lime green & pink combination for a twist on the look above - try Nail Colour in Lime Lustre and Baby Girl.
And of course, you can’t forget the feet! Get tootsies ready for showing off by giving them a good scrub and following up with a lightweight self-tanner – try a concentrated one that you can mix into your regular moisturizer. Now put on some embellished sandals and hit the sand!

If you’re heading to the beach, make sure to change up your makeup from your usual routine – ideally, you want your makeup to be as simple & lightweight as possible!

EASY BEACH MAKEUP HOW-TO:
Step 1: After applying a high SPF sunscreen of your choice, dab concealer under the eyes & onto any imperfections, a brightener to inner corners of eyes and dark areas, and a highlighter to tops of cheekbones – apply sparingly & in thin layers to keep a super-natural look. Use a compact palette so that you can keep in your beach bag for touchups!
Step 2: Apply a waterproof mascara (Lash Booster really is THE most waterproof I've ever found) to lashes, wiggling at the root to deposit more colour, then sweeping out to lash tips for a lengthened look. I like to apply mascara to JUST the upper lashes when I’m at the beach so that the undereye area stays light & bright.
Step 3: Swipe a tinted balm onto lips – try blotting to create a stained effect, or keep a soft sheen by applying it straight from the tube. Blend a bit of the same shade onto cheeks as well for a coordinated glow.

Buff a powder bronzer onto high points of face for a summery, sun kissed effect in seconds! Also sweep it under chin to slim & contour the face - this has long been a trick of mine that I do EVERY time I wear bronzer.
