Having spent 3 summers on the French Riviera during my teenage years, whenever the Cannes Film Festival comes around, it brings back so many great memories! This year, the beauty looks were particularly stunning - here are my favourites!

To get a fresh face like Cara's, try an illuminating tinted moisturizer in a shade one shade warmer than your normal skintone - this creates a healthy, sun kissed glow. Sculpt eyes with a taupe shadow quad and add a brightening nude-creme liner in the inner corners. And of course, to emulate Cara's trademark brows, make sure to define with a foolproof pencil & gel duo.

After doing your base, give eyes a classic defined look with a thin black line along upper lashes and a groomed brow. Add a bit of drama to lips with a concentrated lip creme & blot for a satin-matte finish - use a lip brush for a crisp edge. Apply a rosy cheek powder to apples of cheeks - place it directly under pupils to balance strong lips.

The key to this look is radiant skin - choose a glowing bronzer in a shade just deeper than your skintone for the best effect, buffing over cheeks, forehead, chin, and nose. Add a peachy-pink cheek gel to apples of cheeks for a little "pop" of colour. Give eyes a subtle smoke with a grey liner & shadow, applied close to lashes on both top & bottom lash lines. Finish up with a slick of a fresh pink glossy tinted balm on lips - gorgeous!

Apply base as usual, then use a liquid highlighter (or an illuminating primer, as I love to do) to enhance cheekbones, browbones, and bridge of the nose. Blend plum shades onto eye lids to define eyes, and add a deep cocoa to lash lines for more depth. Apply 2-3 coats of black volumizing mascara, and then finish off with a clear lip balm to add a pretty sheen.
